David Kabiller is a Founding Partner and the Chairman of Arqitel.  He is a member of the investment committee and is involved in the firm’s strategic growth.  David is also Founding Principal and Head of Business Development at AQR Capital Management, overseeing client relationships, business development, marketing, operations, and strategic initiatives. He previously served on the board of the Trammell Crow family office for twelve years. He is a member of Northwestern University’s Board of Trustees and an Honorary Fellow of London Business School, where he is also a member of the Advisory Council of the AQR Asset Management Institute. David also co-authored “Buffett’s Alpha” which received the 2018 Graham and Dodd Award from the Financial Analysts Journal.  Prior to AQR, David was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. He earned a B.A. in economics and an M.B.A. from Northwestern, where he received an athletic scholarship to play tennis and was named to the Big Ten’s Academic All-Conference team.

Andrew Berman is a Founding Partner and Head of Acquisitions at Arqitel. Before founding Arqitel, Andrew led investment efforts for the real estate arm of a large single-family office, overseeing the sourcing, underwriting, execution, and management of its investments. In addition, Andrew led multiple value-add renovation projects and was materially engaged with all legal, tax, accounting, and reporting aspects of the single-family office. Andrew began his career at AQR Capital Management, managing a team of analysts and associates who provided research, data, analytics, and sales support to senior Business Development personnel. Andrew earned a B.A. with honors in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the varsity tennis team and was designated as a two-time ITA scholar-athlete.

Nick Bruce is a Founding Partner and Head of Investments & Research at Arqitel. Before founding Arqitel, he focused on real estate and infrastructure investment and development at CIM Group. Before that, Nick spent four years at Oaktree Capital Management, investing in opportunistic real estate equity and distressed real estate debt. He began his career at RREEF Real Estate, a division of Deutsche Bank AG, where he served on the acquisitions team for its global core and opportunistic real estate funds. He has previously acquired over $6 billion of commercial real estate and managed assets with a cumulative value in excess of $8 billion. Nick earned B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Cambridge, where he graduated with highest honors, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Debra Tani is a Vice President of Asset Management at Arqitel. Before joining Arqitel, Debra was a Director of Asset Management at JRK Property Holdings, a Southern California-based multifamily and hospitality real estate investment firm. Debra’s experience also includes over 15 years of multifamily asset management at The Irvine Company. She has managed over 15,000 apartment units across 154 properties in over 20 different markets throughout her career. Debra earned a B.A. in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.

Dan Jarema is a Managing Director of Business Development at Arqitel.  In this role, Dan consults with leading wealth managers nationwide in the construction and implementation of after-tax focused strategies for their ultra-high-net-worth client segments.  Prior to joining Arqitel, Dan led distribution within the Central US for both OppenheimerFunds and Invesco.  Dan earned a B.A. in Finance from Northern Illinois University and currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Terry Lines is a Data Scientist and Research Associate at Arqitel. Prior to joining Arqitel, Terry was a researcher in spatial data science and machine learning at the University of Glasgow's school for Geographical and Earth Sciences. Before that, he spent nine years undertaking investment and asset management at Anglesea Capital, a UK-based operating partner for real estate private equity investors including Blackstone, Rockpoint, Oaktree, Lone Star, and TIAA-CREF. He began his career at Moor Park Capital Partners, where he served on the investment team for its European-focused opportunistic real estate funds. Terry holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Cambridge and a M.Sc. from University College London. 

Nick Pellett is an Investment Associate at Arqitel. Prior to joining Arqitel, Nick worked at Pacific Coast Capital Partners as an analyst where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and closing both debt and equity transactions. During his time at PCCP, Nick closed over $1 billion in invested capital.  Nick earned a B.A. with honors in History from Dartmouth College.
